For my own discipline's sake, I've decided that I am, Lord willing, going to post something on here every week. There is a project I've been wanting to finish for a while, but I'm about eight years behind because I only started it a month or two ago. (Yes, that is right. Eight years behind.) If I have the motivation to get on here, it will be a reminder that I have something else to work on, too. On the other hand, I may forget about both things for another 2 years, but Lord willing, I won't.
What is the project? In my room, I have a box containing almost all of the sermon notes I've written since I became a Christian. Without counting them, I made an estimated guess that there are 832 sermon notes, not including Biblestudy notes, retreat notes, and Sunday School notes. It is a large amount. Many of them are written in my own tiny script I am known for, in a variation of a version of shorthand. My project is to type out all of them. I have a three-ring binder of ones that I hand copied into longhand, but now I'd like all of them to be typed on to the computer.
In doing this, I've decided to keep most of the spelling of those from the early years in its original form. If you can understand what some of the words are supposed to mean, I think it will prove very amusing for you.
And so, to conclude, because I am the unmotivated, undisciplined, procrastinating, lazy girl that I am, I'll wait until later to type up anymore sermon notes.
:)
Yay! I am so happy.
