I know, I know. I haven't posted anything in a long time. I've had band camp this week (tomorrow too), so I haven't really had the time.
Monday was a pretty first day. Tuesday got to at least 101 degrees. (That was at 5 o'clock after it had cooled down a bit.) Wednesday was good in the morning and rained poured in the afternoon. Obviously we went inside, and we stayed there most of today. We got to go out for an hour and a half when it was slightly less muddy, and Lord willing, it won't be very wet tomorrow. On the last day we normally have a mini party (Pizza for lunch, brownies, etc.), and then the colorguard has their own 'secret' party which was named the "Little Debbie" because we all bring cookies.
A quote from the guard when we were acting rather silly today is that we left our common sense outside yesterday and the rain washed it away. Also, on of the songs is the Get Smart theme song, so we kept saying we had to get smart.
Overall, Marching Band is very fun.
