Ringgold Relief

A group of people on Thursday-Saturday went to north Georgia to help rebuild some of the area which was destroyed by the tornado.
On the first day we built a ramp for an older lady.

This was the area in Ringgold where eight people were killed. When we drove up, about the only thing vertical was telephone poles that had been replaced.

On Friday and Saturday, we were with a church from Dalton who was helping a family rebuild their house.
It was originally a condo and they had been remodeling it into a house when the tornado came.

A small glimpse out of the 100+ pictures I took. Michelle has other pictures and more of the story on her blog (http://www.MichelleElizabethMitchell.blogspot.com).

Despite the few blisters and smashed fingers, I had a very enjoyable time. It was wonderful to serving God with friends. God is so sovereign!
