When Words Seem Unknown

When words seem unknown
and concepts all fail you
and the world is spinning around,
then calm your heart down,
remember what is True,
and God's gracious peace will be found.

Do not be troubled
and overwhelmed with fear,
forgetting the Spirit in you.
But now, be humbled
and be filled with good cheer
for Christ is making all things new.

Rest upon His word.
He helps us in weakness;
He, Himself, intercedes for us.
The groans have been heard.
As He wills, He will bless,
and none can condemn the righteous.

Rejoice! Sing with mirth!
Worship the great I Am.
Give thanks to His glorious name.
Sincere praise, O Earth,
bring to the risen Lamb,
and let Heaven do the same.

To God be the glory.
(Jeremiah 33:11; John 16:33; Romans 8:26-28, 34; Philippians 4:6-9; 2 Timothy 1:7; Revelation 21:5)

It seems odd to write about having no words, doesn't it? :) I'm not a poet, but I find great joy in writing these hymns. Writing helps me meditate. It has been three years since I've written a full one. I am thankful that I could write another. May God be glorified!
