Does the Thought Count?

As Michelle and I were talking during choir, she reminded me that I have neglected to post anything on here for quite some time. I have often thought about saying something, but I end up not doing it after all. Michelle encouragingly said that it was the thought which counts, but if that is the case, the blog would overflow. We both agreed that the thought did not count.
All I see for what the thought counts is, is being a thought. Most things cannot say they are thoughts, so the thought might get a little acknowledgement for actually being one. But if the thought was only a thought and nothing came from the thought, would it might as well not be a thought?
Food for thought. Or is it thought for food, for if we really sink our teeth in to it and chew it up, is the thought food? But if it is food for thought, can a thought eat? Is a thought even anything, because after all, does a thought count?

  1. Haha wow! Round and round! :)

I think saying "the thought is what counts" is just a nice way of saying it's ok that you didn't do something.

But really I agree the _action_ from the thought is what counts! :D
